WSC dedicates new building, has successful open house

With about 500 guests present, WSC dedicated its new headquarters on Thursday, January 12, 2017 to former CEO, Gerald W. Bettenhausen and opened the building to the public. The building, a massive 75,000 sq. ft. split between a manufacturing warehouse and office space, was repurposed by BYSP Architects to better fit WSC after purchasing the property in 2015.

At the open house celebration, mayor of Wichita Falls, Stephen Santellana, said a few words along with CEO David Toogood, Gerald Bettenhausen, BYSP Architects, and the Chamber of Commerce’s Gold Coat Ambassadors.

Guided facility tours boasted the new potential of WSC, showcasing each service available to potential clients and visitors.  Along with the tours, visitors were served a full BBQ lunch, provided by WSC’s award winning Sheppard Air Force Base food service crew, JBW BBQ, and sponsored by, Bundy Young Sims & Potter Inc., Anthony Inman Construction Inc., Hudson Blue Print Inc., and James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing.

WSC and its staff would like to thank all of the sponsors and employees who helped make the open house such a success, and thank each and every visitor and potential client for their time.
